Hi Maldon
I have been using a local accountant Jheelan Associates to do my accounts and tax return. Everything seemed to be above board but recently the owner Mr Jheelan offered to waive the vat on my invoice if I paid him cash.
At first I thought this was a good deal for me, but I have now thought about this and concerned that I am caught up in tax evasion? I also question the actions of my accountant as i am surely not the only client he has done this to.
He is a member of the ACCA but I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any ideas?
